The Millennium Gallery is a truly stunning space which makes it a popular wedding venue in Sheffield. Surrounding the Gallery are the winter gardens, which are full of beautiful and exotic flowers and plants. Needless to say, the foliage makes a gorgeous backdrop for wedding photography.
Ecclesall Woods, South Sheffield
For those that want to get a real sense of the great outdoors, getting married in Ecclesall woods is a fantastic idea. Situated in the south west of Sheffield, they cover around 350 acres, making them the largest semi-natural woodland in South Yorkshire. You can either get married inside the Sycamore Suite of the JG Graves Woodland Discovery Centre, on the tiered lawns, or right in the woods themselves!
The Lambing Barn at Whirlow Hall Farm, South Sheffield
The lambing barn at Whirlow Hall Farm is an interesting choice of wedding venue! During the winter months, the barn houses the farm’s sheep and cows, but in the summer it can be hired out for various events and celebrations, including weddings.
Sheffield City Hall, Sheffield City Centre
This 130’s art deco concert hall in Sheffield is a classic Sheffield wedding venue with great reputation for award winning events. Not to be missed is The Ballroom, a beautiful art deco ballroom perfect for banquet style wedding receptions.
Stanage Edge, Derbyshire (Peak District)
Situated to the west of Sheffield close to the village of Hathersage, Stanage Edge is a picturesque location popular with walkers and climbers. The moorland scenery, amazing views and beautiful surrounding countryside make this an impressive and unique place to get married.
