Product Photography in Sheffield
Much of my business comes from referrals from clients who have used me in the past. This happened for the shoot I did the other day for Rotherham CNC
Following a referral from Cliff Hewson who runs one of the premier web design companies in Sheffield Oh So Creative I contacted Rotherham CNC and arranged to go over to meet the owner.
Meeting the client
Having got the brief I arranged a time to return at a convenient time to do the product photography shoot they wanted. This was to photograph a large selection of their range of milled and engineered products.
How the products were photographed
The items had to be photographed with a readily recognisable scale so some were done with a pound coin at the side and others with a ruler showing in the photograph. Without this there would be no way to determine the size of the objects photographed
I took a mobile studio with me complete with lights and softboxes so that there was a minimum of disruption to the client’s operation
For now the product photographs show the shadow cast so that they appear grounded and not floating but the client has the option to have this done so they can be readily cut out to be blended into other images.
