We met Alice and Loz at Elvaston Castle on the outskirts of Derby to do their pre wedding shoot. One of the most important things about being a wedding photographer in sheffield is that before we even got the cameras out we spent about 15 minutes with them going over all the details of their day and how they would like us to photograph their wedding.

The pre wedding shoot is about taking photographs of our clients but more importantly it is about sorting out all the information we need to be able to shoot it properly. Over a very relaxed hour or so with Alice and Loz we walked around the estate chatting all the time about things that would help their day go well. We stopped to take photos along the way. Over the years we have photographed weddings we have found that the bride always looks gorgeous and that guys don’t know what to do with their hands!

There is nothing worse on a wedding day than to see the groom, his best man and his ushers all standing with their hands in front of themselves looking like they are about to have a football kicked at them. With a few simple ideas and hints we explain how guys can look elegant and not out of place
