Black Tie Event Photography

Anne and I were up in Leeds on Friday night photographing the annual G4C awards evening Click to find out more about what G4C does. This is the 4th year we have been asked to photograph the event by Caroline Key who has just been promoted to National Chair.

Each year the venue is somewhere different and this year it was at the Hilton City Hotel in Leeds. Because it is a new venue to us each time we always arrive early to chat with Caroline about what she wants and to check shooting angles, light levels etc so we get top quality images.

The host this year was Matthew Hoggard,  MBE, a former English cricketer, who played international cricket for England cricket team from 2000–2008, playing both Test cricket and One Day Internationals.
