Aerial video of the difficulty of working in the Brecon Beacons

Aerial video of work for J Anderson & Son in the Brecon Beacons

Last week saw us in South Wales for our client J. Anderson & Son   Link to website  who are Construction and Civil Engineering company specialising in deep excavation to expose live gas, oil and water pipelines.

This aerial video shows the difficulty of getting personnel and supplies to remote sites over poor terrain

Andersons have been working on a large project for National Grid to repair ageing gas pipes in the Brecon Beacons.

There are two dig sites way up in the hills and remote from roads and other tracks and any trip involves using tracked vehicles and a 45 minute single journey from the main site.

The work goes on in whatever weather this part of South Wales throws at you.

Drones are an ideal way of showcasing this sort of  venture. We shot the aerial video over 4 hours and had just finished before the heavens opened and the torrential rain that had been forecast for most of the day started.
