Aerial Photography with a drone in Barnsley

A few weeks ago I was asked by XPO Logistics to photograph 500 of their staff outside their warehouse from the air using my drone – click here for my blog post 500 people

Today saw me back at XPO again for a second aerial photography shoot but this time specifically to photograph the massive 2m sq ft warehouse from different angles so that the true scale of the site and the operation can be appreciated.

To maximise the images obtained I used 2 drones today. The first was the DJI S900 with the Panasonic GH4 camera for all the main photos and then for some really wide angle shots I flew the DJI Phantom 2 vision plus.

The images out of the GH4 are amazing and I love this camera on the ground as well as in the air. Today was about shooting stills but the GH4 also shoots 4k video and it is easy to take 8mp stills from a video and they look stunning.

Many thanks to Jo Martin from XPO for her help and guidance to outline the images required
