Meeting the client
I was referred to Chris Merrick of www.merrixtables.co.uk a few days ago to talk with him about photographing his invention which is an interactive coffee table.
After a chat with Chris to sort out a date and time I headed off with my bag of cameras / lenses and my tripod to Nether Edge.
How the Coffee Table was photographed
For consistency I shot everything with available light and a tripod. By using the tripod I was able to give Chris images with the lid up and the lid down from exactly the same angle, plus exploded views of the back of the table so that these can be turned into moving Gifs
The table is set up to include a touch screen 4k TV and can take loads of peripherals such as games, dvd players, Sky receiver and a whole lot more.
