It’s not as bad as the headline, honestly !! We were there supporting a “Jail n Bail” fundraising event by Bluebell Wood Hospice. 12 people volunteered to be arrested and spend the day in Doncaster Prison, During the day the prison authorities were excellent hosts. Prisoners in the jail were also doing a charity weightlifting event to raise even more money for the hospice by lifting the equivalent of 100 tons – each I think. We dont know how much the prisoners will raise the but the 12 volunteers raised over £15,000 was during the day to help the sterling work that Bluebell Wood Hospice does
